lies范文
要一篇英语作文善良的谎言
A white lie
From young, our parents have reminded us again and again that we should never, ever tell a lie. But as we grow up, we have witnessed or encountered circumstances by which we are forced to lie.
For instance, when one of our relatives have contrated a fatal disease and you know that if you tell him the truth about his illness, he will spend the rest of his days sullenly, in devastation and die with sadness and grief, do you tell him the truth or not?
From the above example, we can see that sometimes a lie is actually for a persons or for anothers own good. In such situations, I advise we tell a white lie, if it is trully because we feel it is for the better. However, in most cases, when we have done something wrong, we should still tell the truth

1.Hi everyone,Im sure everyone has something she or he hates to do, and today i am going to talk about the things i hate to do. The first thing on the list: i really hate giving speeches. Whenever i stand in front of the audiences, i feel nervous and thus often stutter and stumble on my words when speaking. I really hate the thought of making a fool of myself in front of so many people. I hate giving speeches, but i hate writing a speech even more. I thought for a really long time last night to come up with this speech that i am giving now. Im really bad at writing speeches, I just do not know how to start them, and it is really difficult to make speeches entertaining so that the audience do not fall asleep while listening to you. Its a really difficult chore to do. I will always get stuck halfway through writing my speech because i would run out of ideas to fill up the content of the speech. The above two things that i have mentioned are the things that i really hate to do. And i have done them, both, in one night. This is why now i am able to stand in front of you and deliver to you this speech. What do you think of it? With this, i have come to the end of my speech. Thank you very much. 2.Things I Hate to Do I hate to keep pets and tell lies. The thing that I hate doing most is smoking. As we all know, smoking is not only bad for ourselves but also harmful to others. Whenever my father smokes, I feel rather sick. Besides, it is a waste of money to smoke, I think. Whats more, smoking pollutes the air. So I hate smoking most. Most of the time I do things which I enjoy. However, there are still things that I hate to do. For example, I hate to go swimming. I am able to swim but I think it is dangerous. I hate to read ghost stories, too, because they are not only frightening but also boring. Besides, they teach me nothing. In fact, I hate telling lies most. A person who tells lies is dishonest. If you tell lies, nobody will believe you any more when they find out the truth. So I hate to tell lies most. I want to be an honest person.。

善意的谎言英文
In our daily lives, we all hate people who lie to you. We often regard those who tell lies out of some ulterior motive associated with something bad and consider those people as being dishonest and persons who cannot be trusted. But not all lies are out of indecent motive and all "liers" are bad persons. On certain occasions, out of necessity, we simply cannot tell the truth but have to lie with good rather than bad intentions. To "lie with good intentions" is very common and almost all of us have done it. In evaluating another person, we more than often do not tell the truth or speak out what we truly think about the other person for purposes of trying not to hurt the feelings of the person being evaluated. Even though s/he looks ugly, we often tend to lie to her or him. "You look great!" "You are so pretty/handsome." In essence, in judging the nature of lies, we need to determine the intentions behind the lies, some with bad intentions and some with good intentions, and we should judge people who tell lies accordingly.

英语作文 A Word Where No One Lies
In a world where no one lies, people wont need to wear any masks, and no one has to pretend to be nice to everybody. People can just say what they want to say, and do what they want to do, straight and simple - but, is this a world that you are looking for?
We are human-beings, and most of us are just as ordinary as others, with feelings and emotions. We laugh when we are happy and we feel sad when something goes wrong in our life, and this is life. We live in the world with lots of people, and when people talk to people, someone may say something, which may not be true. Does this really affect us? Will that ruin our life? The answer is No. Most likely, lies do not physically do any harm to anybody. It may emotionally affect us under certain circumstances, e.g. when we make a choice, if we were given the wrong message, we may end up with a bad choice. This could happen, but what would normally happen is: we just ignore those lies weve heard, and still do what we are supposed to do.
So in a real life scenario, lies are unavoidable. As long as we, as mature young men, can different those right things from wrong, we shall be safe, we shall be OK.

honest and white lies
honesty is a kind of virtue that we all should have. but sometimes, we can make some white lies. maybe that will be more suitable for some special situations. for instance, when you face a patient who has no idea he got such serious ill, it will be better to tell a kind lie to him. for another example, on the April 1st, wont it be very funny if you make a little joke to your friends?
of course, we should become a honest person. however, everything depends on the situation.right?

Will Christmas Replace the Spring Festival
Christmas arouses increasing attention year by year in China. Christmas cards become popular with students. People hold Christmas parties and exchange Christmas girts. A lot or TV and radio programs about Christmas are on. Meanwhile the Spring Festival is less appealing to youngsters. Thus some people wonder whether Christmas will replace the Spring Festival.
This worry is fairly unnecessaryg Why Ⅱ One reason lies that Christmas only affects Christians, college students and joint-venture (workers. Another reason is that Christmas is mostly celebrated in cities. Few people in countryside show extreme interest in this exotic festival. By contrast, the Spring Festival is the most influential traditional festival in every family.
I think, it is natural that with increasing exchanges with the West, a lot of Western holidays have been gradually introduced into China. For us Chinese we should never neglect or even discard our own traditional festivals. For centuries Chinese have observed this traditional holiday to welcome the beginning of a new year. And we will treasure the Spring Festival forever.
According to the statistics, only 58% of college graduates could find jobs in their specialties. Why do college graduates find it increasingly difficult to get a rewarding job?
One reason perhaps is that many colleges and universities fail to adapt their courses to the development of economy. Degree courses offered in these institutions of higher learning are so outdated, irrelevant and impractical that the students themselves find it hard to translate their book knowledge into real job skills. Second, there is an oversupply of graduates in certain specialties.
So many of them can not enter the professions for which they are trained. College graduates are valuable resources in our country. The problems they encounter in job hunting deserve more attention
