Off the top of my head,I want to say something about the cute little girl in POVOSs shaver advertisement I saw on the TV the other day.The 20-sec advertisement begins with a very pretty-looking and lovely baby sitting there,and being kissed by both of her parents.Then she is pulling her hair and complaining in a cute voice:“All the men are the same,and they never take account of womens opinions.I am always hurt by dads remaining beard.How terrible!”Then,there is a voice-over:“You wont have remaining beard if you use POVOSs shaver.” The clip ends with the POVOSs slogan:“It is about time to solve the problem of remaining beard.” as well as its big visual on the screen.The little baby in the ad is about one year old.Short curly hair,big black eyes and sweet smile make her look adorable.I like this kid because she is so impressive that she makes this short advertisement stand out quickly among so many dazzling commercials.Her facial expression as well as her posture well present the idea this clip aims to produce.I have to admit the fact that this ad is very successful because of the little baby.So cute!。

我六级547，去年11月27的雅思，6点5分，听说读写各是6.5,6.5,6.5,6，不算大牛，不过可以给你一点建议。

我是用三个月备考的。先上了16天的培训班。

先说听力吧，新东方上课的时候就是说要坚持每天一到两个小时，这个一定要努力做到，剑3到剑7的真题太重要了，我听力只听了这个，每个section听五遍，第一遍做题，第二遍先不看答案再听一遍然后再做一遍，看看有什么是第一遍没听到的，然后对答案，听第三遍，第四遍的时候看原文，找出关键词，一般是but之类的转折词，因为后面基本上就是答案，然后再听第五遍熟悉语境。还有就是要背场景词汇。

考前一周的时候，一定要看3g雅思的听力预测，相当准，我就是因为不信这个听力才吃了大亏，平常做的时候听力都是上7的。

。唉。

听力其他的没什么了，如果时间充足可以坚持听听BBC，有益而无害。下面说说阅读，还是要把真题吃透，剑3的题老了，可以选择的做做，剑4到剑7必做，等你考的时候估计剑8也出了，都要做。

每篇文章都要做两遍以上，第二遍是精读，做的时候控制好时间，20分钟一篇，控制在16分钟内做完。先看题目在做题，平常多读阅读材料，我当时看的是CHINA DAILY，比雅思简单，然后学会一眼扫过好几个单词，叫做意群读法。

坚持，会有突破的。再说写作，模板什么的真不能全信，外国人都能看得出来的，所以就在平常的积累，练真题，还有就是买一本写作书，每一篇文章都自己写，然后对照范文，找别人的好词好句，日积月累。

我考前一共练了40篇大作文，20篇小作文，但还是考得不太好，因为中国人的思维和外国人的差别太大。作文确实要花大功夫，不然很难有突破。

最后说口语。口语怎么练，没有别的办法，就是得说，张嘴说，口语话题从网上下载就可以，有题库，有机经，每个月会有那么一两道新题，关注一下就行。

雅思口语三个部分，第一部分就是聊家常，这个不用特别准备，了解有哪些话题，放轻松和考官聊就行，我当时考的时候，问我的是我的专业，喜不喜欢坐飞机旅游，发邮件给谁等等问题。第二部分要重点准备，有时间的话把卡片题都给准备了，我当时准备了100多道。

因为我的口语基础不是很好，所以我就用了个笨方法，就是准备一个本子，把每个卡片题自己写下来，每篇200字左右，然后背诵。事实证明这个方法呢，只有在你考试的时候一点都不紧张的情况下才管用，所以最好就是拿到一个卡片题，就自己说上五遍，然后在本子里写下提纲，别人说这个方法更好，你可以试试，这样也节省不少时间。

第三部分没法准备，考官根据你第二部分的内容进行拓展，所以平常常说口语，给自己营造一个氛围应该就会好些。另外，我为了雅思果断抛弃了我的美式口音，狂练英式，现在连舌头都不会打弯了，真没这个必要，我的口语考官就说一口美语，这个口音问题不用纠结，哪种都行。

One such contest that I would like to talk about was the Cycling competition that I participated in my college.I was then a student of college and around 15 years old. One day I noticed an advertisement in our local newspaper that an inter-college cycling competition would held on next week. The entry fee would be $20 and the prizes would be given to the first three cyclers. I had a passion on cycling and I thats why I thought to participate it.On the day of the contest I went to the starting point and registered my name in the competition. I took my bicycle and wore my cycling dresses. I noticed there were around 30 competitors and I was asked to stand at my start point. With the sound of the whistle I start cycling. I had very less intension of winning prized but I simply did concentrate on cycling. The total distance was around 5 miles and that required some energy and time. After I finished the racing, I was really surprised to hear that I won the third prize. I found that some of my classmates were shouting because I was one of the three prize winners.I felt really happy and proud that I did well in this competition. Actually I never took my cycling habit seriously and after I did well in that competition, I started participating in other cycling competitions as well。
