Generally the seed has 4 main parts: testa, contelydon, plumule and radicle. The testa is the seed coat which protects the seed before it can germinate. The contyledon has the most neutrients. Radicle grows through the testa and grows downwards becomes the root which can get water and nuetrients from the soil to support the other parts of seed to grow. Then the plumule will grow upwards and becomes the main shoot of the plants after the seed germinate.

As the seed germinates, the main shoot grows bigger and longer and the other parts of plants starts to grow. The stem is the part where nutrients and water transport from roots to the other parts of plants such as leaves and flowers. As they can get sunlight, water and oxygen, flowers starts to grow.

Flowers use their bright colours and nice smells to attract insects and animals for the transperation. Some insects such as bees and butterflies always help bringing the pollen which is the male cell of a plant from one flower to another. The wind helps too. We call the movement of pollen from one flower to another "pollination"
