旅途中，汽车沿着盘山公路蜿蜒前行，但见巍巍桐柏山层峦叠嶂，树木葱翠，溪流潺潺，云绕雾漫。从山下车行十分钟许，就看到了雄伟壮观的水帘洞山门突兀眼前，苏轼所题“水帘洞”三个遒劲有力的大字在阳光下熠熠生辉。

山门左侧一尊竖石镌刻着“天趣苑”三字，预示着我们将进入妙趣横生的风景胜地。远远便听到有水溅落的声音，接着便看到一线飞瀑从悬崖峭壁上俯冲而下，就好象一条流动的白缎从天而泻，这就是古人形容的“半山垂下水晶帘，疑是银河落九天。

今古无人能卷得，月钩空挂碧云边”的水帘挂雪。由于至今无人卷起，所以它一直悬挂在那里，装饰着水帘洞。

站在妙法寺的顶端，我们从远处欣赏水帘洞的全景。但见青山环绕中，绿树掩。

I went out to play with my friend --- Jane。 I like to play with her, because she is a strong girl。

We rode bikes to a garden。 This was a big and beautiful garden。

We did a lot of things there。 Sometimes we sat on the grass side by side, closing the eyes and quietly and hearing the bird sing songs。

Soon we rode the bikes quickly。 Suddenly Jane stopped。

My Understanding of Environmental Protection

As is known to us all,we cant be seperated from the enviroment at all.Land,water and air is what we needed.We need land to build our homes on.We need water for drinking and washing things,and we need air to breathe.We can say that they are part of our life.We dare not imagine what our life would be like if they didt exist or went wrong.

However,we are doing silly things which are damaging our environment.A vast of land has been used to build houses on which ought not to have been.Rivers and lakes have been polluted,from which our drinking water come,let along to say the air that is full of terrible smells and poisonous materials.Its reported by the government that more and more people suffer from diseases and even die of them due to the polluted enviroment.

For our life,it is urgent to protect the enviroment.But what to do?To my mind,first of all,our government is supposed to make laws on environmental protection.Whoever damages the enviroment should be punished.Factories musnt release the waste without being disposed.As individuals,we can also help,such as using environmentally friendly bags in place of plastic ones,taking a bus to work or school instead of driving cars.
