昨日，福田中学高三（8）班为此开了个特殊班会。据悉，高二年级期末考试，王坤琪总成绩全年级第一，刚进行的高三年级第一次月考，王坤琪总成绩全年级第二，与第一名仅差5分。

当2岁的小坤琪被确诊为脑瘫综合二级伤残时，其母万宏就再也没有上班，专职照顾坤琪，并帮他康复。老家黄冈没一家幼儿园愿意收他就读。上小学时他还不会走路，万宏干脆陪读了两年。2006年，全家搬到深圳后，第一次英语考试小坤琪只考了20多分。“孩子回家后经常流泪，说听不懂老师讲课”，万宏说。于是，她把小学所有英语教材买回家，陪孩子自学。王坤琪也十分努力。除了睡觉，其他时间都在背单词、背文章。自学2个月后，王坤琪英语考了88分，进入初一时英语成绩已是年级第一。
